S4CD Members Interviewed on Fox 5 DC

S4CD members Lauren Williams (Yale) and Patrick White (UMaine) appeared twice on Fox 5 DC this election season to discuss their experience as first-time voters and the issues that matter most to them.

Both highlighted the importance of climate change to the next generation as well as the bipartisan viability and effectiveness of a carbon pricing-based solution.

Lauren spoke about the importance of climate to young people and praised carbon pricing as a tool to drive clean energy investment and development across the economy.

Similarly, Patrick spoke about how climate impacts are already being felt in his home state of Maine—including negative effects on the state’s lobster and clam industries—and that he backs carbon dividends as a solution all sides can support.
