Students for Carbon Dividends (S4CD) is a bipartisan climate organization that engages students, campus VIPs, and youth leaders around the breakthrough Carbon Dividends solution. This bedrock strategy is fast-emerging as the leading bipartisan climate proposal in the United States. It has earned the support of the broadest climate coalition in American history, as well as the endorsement of the largest statement of economists of all time. As the generation most affected by climate instability, we are working to catapult the carbon dividends solution into the national spotlight, deliver a bipartisan victory, and safeguard human health and prosperity.

S4CD is searching for a Vice President of Communications to join our core leadership team, help shape our grand strategy, and direct S4CD’s communications infrastructure.
The Vice President’s responsibilities will fall into three categories. First, the VP will help create and curate innovative content for S4CD’s social media, targeted advertising, and other publicity campaigns. Second, the VP will generate press and media opportunities for S4CD’s coalition members and liaise with various media stakeholders. Finally, the VP will help write content—op-eds, newsletters, press releases—for national publication.
Candidates should be recent graduates, or dedicated students, with demonstrated experience in marketing and communications and with an advanced understanding of visual communication. Those with strong writing abilities are highly preferred. They should also bring strategic, research, analytical and organizational skills, along with a relevant background in Political Science, Economics, Public Policy, and/or Environmental Science.
