The S4CD Lightbulb Campaign
The image of a lightbulb—which is also the centerpiece of the S4CD logo—signifies many things: the discovery of a bright and promising idea, the ability of our generation to light the way forward on climate solutions, the promise of clean energy technology and innovation, the symbol of our increasingly electric future, the need to address climate change while also delivering affordable, abundant energy, and the vision of a brighter future.
All of these values are embedded in the S4CD movement and the carbon dividends solution, and they are the focus of our lightbulb campaign. We are thankful to the S4CD members who participated and grateful to them for sharing their testimonials. “Caring for the environment and working to help reduce the effects of the climate threat is a way for me to live out the central tenets of my faith, which involve environmental stewardship. I believe in S4CD because it gives students a strong voice to really make change.” -Melissa M.
